This place is much better in spring and summer, way too crowded in winter and ridiculous prices for everything, car parking is frustrating with small bays and close together with no where near enough spaces, over priced and basic eateries and food, we experienced rude staff to people in one restaurant and don't bother without a booking, they do have a coles if you don't mind fighting through screaming children and crowds.Guest review byCraig - 10.0

Jindabyne is a great place to visit, Summer or Winter. Not only are there many outdoors activities, there are great restaurants to try, excellent coffee and some of the most beautiful scenery to be found. Very poor shopping facilities, but the pub with the lake view was brilliant & the club was nice aswell. Perisher was disappointing as if your not sking they have no activities for non skiers and getting charged $29 for parking. Jindabyne is the place to stay any part of the year in the mountains, because you are never alarmed or afraid, your options are wide open to go or retreat and I love all the Snowy locations and have been there many times, walked the circuit twice and to the top all directions many times. Jindabyne has the entertainment, the shops, the accommodation and the glorious views, plus the lake of course. Your ski locations are a choice, By all means go to Thredbo and stay, its great ,if the the snow is thick, good fun, but your choices are few. Jindaybyne is not in the National Park, fees can be paid daily, $17 or for longer.Guest review byPamelaAustralia - 10.0

Jindabyne has a great vibe. All of the locals we met were pleasant and welcoming. The scenery is beautiful. Its only a short drive to Kosciusko National Park and there are heaps of tourist activities in the area.Guest review byJacinta

Located in a quiet street, but easy access to Jindabyne town centre and walking distance to the brewery. It was modern and very clean with views of the lake. The kitchen had ample cooking utensils etc. There was a washing machine and drier in a separate laundry. It was very warm with an air-conditioner in the living area and separate heaters in both bed rooms. The beds were comfortable.
