The thing I like most about Hobart was that all of the attractions- beaches, marinas, good food, museums and botanic gardens, were within walkable distance. There were so many lovely parks and gardens, and my favorite of all; the number of significant buildings which have been restored and maintained and available for visitors to see. My partner and I are Octogenarians, and as such our needs and expectations may differ significantly to much younger persons. There was nothing that stood out as being particularly interesting to us; it was a visit just to see another another City and it's people. Hobart is a perfect location for a long weekend . It’s very relaxing , the food choice is excellent and the harbour area is great to explore . My only problem is walking up the hills . The rooms, linens, towels, floors, cupboards, etc, were all super clean and the place smelled fresh when we arrived. Emily the host was easy to communicate with and helpful.
