So relaxing, tucked away with views of the lovely forth river and surrounding rural landscape. Being warmed by the outside fire whilst watching the sunset sky change hues was a wonderful start to the weekend. A very comfy bed, and I loved the choice of an inside bathroom or outside toilet with a view! A beautiful walk down the country lane to the famous forth pub, so convenient!

The hostess, Yvonne, is a sweetheart and is a great hostess. Her little touches in the house, made it feel very welcoming like she baked us a warm homemade bread and gave us a lovely breakfast starter kit including fresh poultry eggs and fresh milk. I would highly recommend staying at Silwood apartment, if you are a couple or a small family of 3, I would highly recommend it !

My experience at this hotel was simply unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with a genuine and warm kindness.     We used Forth River Cottage as a base to explore activities around the area, but unfortunately that meant we got to spend very little time in Forth itself. It was a very small town which we'd like to explore more next time we visit.
