Donald motel is one of the most comfortable country motels we have stayed in. The family rooms are large with plenty of room. Clean and fresh inside and out. The outdoor seating area is fantastic with BBQs and large tables and nice plants everywhere. Was great place to sit and have drinks and nibbles. Located at end of the main street so close to all the shops and easy to grab a morning coffee or go to local IGA for items. Friendly and helpful owners.

Wonderful stay with a great location on the main street of Donald. Exceptionally clean room and facilities, well maintained and organised with everything you need for a stay away from home. We travelled with our two young children and the two bedroom suite was perfect. Also has the kindest, most helpful owners/management. Will definitely be staying here again the next time we’re in Donald!

Absolutely loved our stay at Riverside Motel in Donald! The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the room was beautifully clean – you can tell great care goes into maintaining the place. It’s incredible value for money, and the warm, friendly service from Andrew and his family made us feel right at home. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area – we’ll definitely be back!

This is a small motel on the northern edge of Donald. It is a little old fashioned but the bed was comfortable and the bathrooms are newly renovated. Each room has a deck that overlooks a branch of the Richardson River and the surrounding nature reserve. It was a very pleasant outlook and made for a quiet night. We enjoyed our stay.

The location of this motel was brilliant. Set on the river, we were able to sit on the balcony/deck and enjoy a great view of the river and the abundant bird life. Although only a 3 star motel, everything was clean and well presented. We would definitely stay here next time we are in Donald.
