We've appreciated the friendly, effucient staff. Dinner was exquisite and our 2-bedroom cottage was spacious and comfortable. Corinna is my favourite place in Tasmania. The teanquility, the breathtaking firests and the majestic Pieman river.

Staff ethos is genuinely to make your stay relaxed and comfortable. If you need to check your investments every day, check your emails or need to post to your social media daily, this isn't for you. If you are prepared to switch off, go for a walk, take a cruise up the river and do all that "connected" stuff after you go home, then you'll love this place.

The town is a must if you are into the history of the timber industry or love being in a rain forrest with a river on it's doorstep. The town takes you back in time and there are walk/hikes for everyone. The pub does great meals and the hosts are fun and freindly.

Corinna was everything we had heard it was.

Corinna was everything we had heard it was. The cottage we had was large and very well furnished. Parking was right outside our place. It was just a short walk to the restaurant where we enjoyed the evening meals. It was also a short stroll to the ferry (to get to Corinna from the South) and the boat for the Piemen River Cruise which we did on Boxing Day in amazing weather. The fact, which we were aware of, that there is no telephone, radio, tv, or wifi reception was hard to start with - but soon got used to it. Finished up playing some of the board games we found in our cottage. It was very hot (39c on one day according to the ranger- the hottest anyone could remember) and dry where when we were there (Dec 2022) but we knew it would have been a very different experience had it been the more usual weather - wet and cold. How the early discoverers and settlers managed is hard to imagine. Be aware though that bookings for Corinna have to be made a long time in advance and I can see why it is so popular for those who want to get away from it all and experience the wilderness.

We loved Corinna Wilderness Village. Great to chill out, relax, enjoy the magnificent bush, the walks, dinner at the hotel, the rustic environment. It was good to just read all the books in the room - thanks for leaving them for guests to read instead of watching TV. Having no mobile reception, no wi-fi, no internet was a welcome change. The bed was so comfy too. The cabin was just perfect for a 2 day stay. Loved the Arcadia II cruise - perfect for a cold, rainy day!

The quiet, the isolation, the easy access to beautiful walks in stunning forests. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the meals at the Wilderness Hotel delicious and enormous. The cabins are clean, comfortable and cosy. I can think of no better place to take a quiet few days away from he world.

Aptly named wilderness experience! Beautiful (dirt road) drive in (and out) . Rustic hotel and cabins with friendly, helpful staff and excellent food. Walking and kayaking options were stunning.
