The lodge was in a serene setting with beautiful flowers in the gardens. The location was close to the town centre & was within walking distance which makes it a nice walk in the cool spring climate.

Lovely, traditionally farmhouse experience set in a beautiful rural environment. Very quiet with no road noise. Kitchen exceptionally well equipped. Nice soaps / shampoos provided. We loved our stay here.

It was perfect, we loved everything! Kate and Rick were fantastic hosts, very kind and welcoming. The property is beautiful and well-kept, our en-suite room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was truly delicious. We saw all kinds of birds and bunnies in a carefully manicured garden with a lovely view of the river. It's a very peaceful and quiet spot, but also only less than 5 minutes by car from the main street, which made it easy for us to eat out and enjoy the town. My wife and I felt like we were in a home away from home!
