The location was fantastic, at the lakeside it was a mixture of a chapel and a hotel. There was a concert the day I stayed, the atmosphere was fantastic. I just stayed one night during the Alpe-Adria hike, but really enjoyed it. Breakfast was fine.

Absolutely perfect and professional staff - from the owner to the last member of the team. They are all very friendly, positive, careful and do their best to make you happy. Lovely room with great views, lovely staff, fabulous breakfast. Good location for travel to Slovenia. Walk down to the lake was nice as was the cafe at the beach area. Dinner at local Gastehaus Trink, very pleasant. Hotel Pension Melcher is spotlessly clean and tidy. Thoroughly recommend.
