The host - Angela - was extremely friendly and knowledgeable from the moment i booked to the follow-up message to thank us and wish us well after we left. She was always on hand to help us and nothing was ever too much. She gave us plenty of recommendations and information about the local area and places to eat or activities to do, and always with a smile. As for the property itself. It is truly breath-taking. The house is so welcoming, clean and beautiful, with lots of space. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a balcony to take in the view (which i could look at for hours every day), means that you'll never feel cramped in here. The beds are comfy and you have all the facilities and utensils you need to cook your own meals and live there. Despite the colder climate, there was always sufficient and evenly distributed heat through the property, so it was never stuffy or too intense. I had requested for Angela to put something together as a nice little surprise welcome for my partner's 30th birthday, which she didn't have to do, but she made sure there were balloons and chocolates and a lovely card set out for our arrival which really means a lot and I'm so thankful to her for that. It's a reflection of how accommodating she was through the whole process. In summary, if your thinking of visiting the lovely town of Pfarrwerfen, for whatever reason, you simply have to book your stay here. It is 100% worth the money. The view of the castle and the town below with the beautiful mountains and landscape in the background in itself is worth more than the money you will pay to stay here, and you are in good hands here. Thank you so much to Angela, Gunther and Lea for having us. We will definitely be re-booking this place when we return!

Our family stay was exeptional and communication with owners was fantastic. All our needs were met with professionalism and care for the guest. Facility was cozy, clean and with perfect view at Tennen mountains. Owners were so friendly and open to our questions, and they recommended W3 transfer which was very helpful and convenient. Our stay was perfect and Pension Sonneck has excellent location. You could sit on balcony for hours and enjoy the view and the feel that you are at home.

    The property is right by the train station, situated in a beautiful small town called pfarrwerfen. There is a huge supermarket and a very highly rated restaurant nearby. The construction is new and the host is very warm and professional. The rooms are extremely clean, the view from the room was great as well. I loved the breakfast and especially the coffee. The host also greeted us everyday at the breakfast buffet and served egg preparations as hot items with the buffet. We would love to come back to Pfarrwerfen and stay here again.

    The Hotel is located in a beautiful and tranquil environment. The view to the surrounding mountains is breathtaking. Our room had a nice balcony. The Hotel is located close to the Highway to Salzburg and to some local touristic attractions.
