A long hard drive up some very steep & winding roads but well worth the effort for the amazing views from its 1800m altitude. The spectacular location was equally matched by the quality of the accommodation, food, & lovely friendly hospitality provided by the family hosts. Numerous walking options directly from the front door.

It´s a great place to stay. The owners were very nice friendly people and they care about their visitors. They also recommened us what to visit around. I felt like at home. The place was peaceful and you could relax by the pool with the beautiful view of the mountains. I highly recommned this place.

Very friendly host and overall nice place, if a bit old fashioned. It makes it charming though I think. Also good value for money. I was even offered to park my motorcycle in a garage for the night, very much appreciated!

A beautiful and spacious stay! We had a fantastic time at this pension. Our family room was modern and equipped with everything we needed, including mosquito screens on the windows. This was a huge plus, as it allowed us to sleep with the windows open and enjoy the fresh air. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the large bathroom was a great convenience. The food was a highlight of our stay. The breakfast was delicious and rich, with an amazing selection of homemade jams and other local products. We also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, which offered wonderful local dishes. The cafe had a tempting variety of cakes and homemade ice cream that we couldn't resist. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our entire family feel welcome, including our little cavapoo dog. It was a perfect experience for all of us. The hotel is in an amazing, serene, quiet and beautiful location!! The host couple is extraordinarily kind, and I felt welcome the moment I arrived. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of foods. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was 10000% clean. I can only recommend. I will come back for sure! Great value-price ratio.

    Well, it is ok to stay in this hotel if there is no other option. Our experience with this place is that most of the people in this area are somehow not "tourist friendly", from this point of view, this stay was ok. Our son liked their warm croassants for breakfast, which was the reason we stayed. We enjoyed the big room. The big room was warm enough.

    I really appreciated this stay. The comfort and service was beyond what i expected for the price. I had a big room with toilet and shower, balcony, view to the mountain. I could borrow a bike for trips (even borrowed a daypack). And the owner and the staff was very kind. The place also has a kitchen you can borrow. A bar is connected to the hotel.

    We had a good time at Waldpension Putz! The hosts are great and gave valuable advice on places and restaurants to go to :) The hotel is really nicely located on the south side of the alps and with beautiful mountains surrounding the hotel :)
