It is a very nice and cozy hotel in the center of this small town. I adored the soundproofing windows and the authentic but also modern enterior. The bed was comfy. The breakfast was good and they have great coffee. It was nice to read the story of the hotel in the lobby. Hotel Rosner is dog friendly and they have charming balkonies with flowers with a view to the church.

The breakfast was very good. There is also a set dinner in the evening, no selection but what we ate was good. The pool and wellness areas are good for unwinding in the afternoon or after ski. the location is good for the space jet and other ski locations in Flachau. The ski-bus stops just outside the hotel.

Very friendly people (who speak both German and English), check-in went smooth and was flexible. Large & clean room and bathroom, breakfast was very nice. Sufficient free parking availability in front of the hotel and Wifi works very well. The location is on walking distance to all restaurants in the center of Altenmarkt. There was also place to store your bike. I had an excellent stay and can definitely recommend this place.

We traveled for 14 hours and got very late to the hotel but we have been guided to get to the apartment after the reception closed very well .Very nice place,very helpful staff , lovely room and big variety for breakfast and amazing location highly recommended

Great location close to the highway, as we were on route towards Slovenia. The facilities are amazing, with a big wellness area which was open until 20.00 and a restaurant next to the hotel. Good food for reasonable prices. Staff super friendly and also an extensive choice at breakfast. We enjoyed it!

Authentic accomodation in the heart of town. Easy acces and parking. Very friendly staff. We were passing by but could have stayed longer. Spacious room with salon , balcony .. We had a late check-in but it was still able to have drinks at the nice terrace.

    We were there for a winter sky holiday.

    We were there for a winter sky holiday. Location is very good - not too far from our country. Slopes are exactly what we need - red-blu, with fast lifts and not crowded of people even on a pick of Christmas period . All the area is a great value for money and we will definitely come back. Apreski bar at the slope next to the gondola is super party place after ski and we spended there our evenings with much emotions. We visited also Therme and it was a great experience- at this time there was a laser show and disco party - great experience for any ages. At the center we found some good restaurants and pizza places for dinner. Our stay was too short for more but we will come back to continue..

    Altenmarkt is a cute little town nestled in the Alps.

    Altenmarkt is a cute little town nestled in the Alps. I’m sure the high season is winter, as it’s clerks a ski town. It’s still a beautiful spot in the summer, with cute restaurants and shops. Overall, a lovely pit stop on our way to Sloveni.

    Altenmark is a small willage, but you can find a lots of shops and restaurants there, but we were so busy that we didnt go. We spend most of the time skiing, Flachau is just 15 min drive. Perfect for kids is aqua therme, swimming pool with big waves, hot water, tobogans etc and for others really great spa, with 5-6 different saunas.

    The apartment is very large, can easily accomodate 5-6 people, the kitchen is well equiped with all you might need in order to cook, it is located on a hill, above the town with an amazing view towards the mountains. You need a car to move around, but this was not a problem for us. From here to the first supermarket you need to drive 3-5min,and to reach the skiing slopes of Zauchensee the drive is aprox 20min. The hosts were very friendly.

    Excellent location on main street in Altenmarkt, very good breakfast, helpfull staff always on disposition, comfort room, owner of hotel Mr. Bernard Schartner provided very warm hospitality for each guest. Definitely in this hotel you can feel as part of family, not just guest. Very good dinner prepared by owner who is also ch.cook. Highly recommended hotel.

    An excellent hotel with amazing and kind hosts. Everything is spotless and well-organized, and the room is spacious and feels like home. The breakfast is excellent. The location is secluded and quiet, yet close to everything the area has to offer. Definitely a hotel worth returning to.
