The two-bedroom, self-catering tents at AfriCamps have a kitchen, dining area and seating area. The main bedroom has a Queen bed, while the second bedroom has a double bed with a single bunk bed. Each tent has a bathroom with a shower. We started seeing giraffe, zebra & buck as soon as we drove through the gate which was amazing. The tent was such a different experience than staying in standard accommodation. We loved the animals coming right up to the deck. It was very comfortable, clean and overall an amazing stay. We will be back as well as want to try the other Africamp destinations!

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Highbourne Cottages is a recently renovated chalet situated in Winterton, 10 km from Monks Cowl Country Club. The chalet, set in a building dating from 1940, is 34 km from Winterton Museum and 50 km from Spioenkop Nature Reserve. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Highbourne Cottages is truly a sight to behold. We had the pleasure of staying in the Protea Cottage. The views from the cottage were breathtaking, and it was spotlessly clean upon our arrival. The cottage features a double bed downstairs and two single beds upstairs. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunset from the comfortable couch on the deck. While there are numerous hiking trails nearby, we opted to simply relax and enjoy the peaceful and tranquil atmosphere of the property. We highly recommend Highbourne Cottages and look forward to returning in the future.
