The lodge offers a seating area with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with free toiletries, a hairdryer and shower. The guest house is conveniently located, it’s easy to access Alishan with the bus, and we got to learn so much about tea and life in Taiwan from the couple of owners. They were incredibly kind and generous to us, and even drove us to a restaurant nearby so we could get dinner. This place is a gem!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful bed and breakfast. The owners and staff were incredibly kind and thoughtful – on our first evening they even came to pick us up when we got lost, which already showed how much they care about their guests. The service throughout our stay was absolutely excellent. Both manor houses were stunning, with breathtaking views all around. In the mornings we were greeted by funny little grasshoppers, as if they were wishing us good morning, and our daughter especially loved spending time with the sweet cats. It’s a place filled with warmth, charm, and genuine hospitality. We can’t recommend it enough – a true gem!

Meishan Taiping Old Street is 17 km from Walk Cloud Bed and Breakfast, while Jiao Lung Waterfall is 32 km away. Chiayi Airport is 42 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. We loved our stay at Walking in the Clouds BnB. It is a lovely BnB tucked in the mountains of the Alishan region. It has an incredible view with large, well equipped rooms. The hosts are so welcoming and kind. They are really helpful and generous and made sure we had everything we needed and more for our stay. The breakfast and dinner were exceptional- we particularly loved the hotpot dinner and ice cream freezer!
