Paraíso Douro AL is located in Lamego, 2.8 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary, and provides a balcony, garden, and free WiFi. The property features 10 rooms and 7 bungalows. Breakfast exceeded our expectations! There was great variety! Everything was really good! And the staff are just lovely. I wish that I knew all of their names but I only remember Rosa who was super helpful!!

We got a balcony room overlooking the mountain and towns below, as well as the pool and cute bar area downstairs. The room itself is quite small, but the bed was great and we really stayed here to be near the scenic area and Fisgas de Ermelo, the truly epic waterfall within a 20 minute drive of the property through the beautiful mountain area. The host was great, friendly to talk to and gave us some great tips (plus a quite good affordable bottle of wine for the evening). Make sure to bring dinner with you or stop before you come for the evening as there is nothing in the immediate area. Breakfast was quite good too. There is also a pool and hot tub, although it was too cold for us to use those (even in July). Overall, if you're driving through the area, it's worth a stop!

Located just 8 km from Tahiti Waterfall, Secret do Gerês provides accommodation in Vieira do Minho with access to a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden, as well as room service. The special setting in the forest makes it a one-time experience. The view seeing the river between the trees and hearing the songbirds in the morning gives you a feel of nature. The recommendations from the owner for viewoints and hiking were very helpful. He also recommended us very good restaurants.

Offering an outdoor pool, Equinaturi is set in Santo Tirso, 24 km from Porto. Braga is 26 km from the property. I like the property it was so bright and green right in mountains and has amazing swimming pool and place to park the car.
