What differentiates it are the architectural details in the house and the outdoor style, all with a great view over the Douro River. The patios had plenty benches, tables, chairs, umbrellas and shades that create unique lounges, very Mediterranean style. The setting is amazing, regardless if you’re in the room, patios or by the pool. It feels very private and is perfect to just disconnect and relax. The location is perfect, but would say only accessible by car. The owner was very nice and thoughtful. One of the best houses we’ve stayed. 100% recommend.

Additional in-room amenities include wine or champagne. Luisa was incredible! We stayed 3 nights here and loved our time. It was relaxing and filled with making us feel at home! She provided us with a fridge full of food upon arrival and a small bottle of her own wine. Each morning she bought us fresh bread, cakes, eggs, juice etc which was such a nice touch! As we were heading out one morning she caught us and showed us the wine being made in the process which was fantastic to see! Always a text or call away and lots of recommendations and even offer to use the pool in her other property. We couldn’t recommend this place more - perfect location for a stay in the Douro Valley!

Beautifully decorated chalet with interesting arquitectural features and a cozy balcony. The pool and the chairs next to it were amazing to cool off and relax in a very warm day. The place was very tidy and clean, had clean sheets and towels, a private pool, a nice balcony to eat outside with the amazing view. They gave us wood for the outside barbecue which was amazing, they were always available for our questions, had a lot of really good recommendations, and Fernando also gave us a taste of his Porto wine as a welcome. Unforgettable stay! We also asked for additional wine tasting at their vineyard which is a must if you stay there! it is a perfect place for a couple or families touring the Douro valley, even just for relaxing with the beautiful view of the vineyard, just breathtaking. Highly recommend it!
