This chalet comes with 2 bedrooms, a kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven, a flat-screen TV, a seating area and 1 bathroom equipped with a shower. Guests can take in the ambience of the surroundings from an outdoor dining area or keep themselves warm by the fireplace on colder days. Additional in-room amenities include wine or champagne. We were in town for a swim meet in Loule. This location was about a 15-minute drive from the pool complex, so convenient with a car. It would not be convenient if you did not have a car. Easy to get to various spots in the area. The hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate with. They had pre-stocked us with some basics and a bottle of wine, a nice touch. You are staying in their guest house on the farm. The setup was very nice, but just as a heads up, the floor isn't on a solid foundation, so it had some "give" to it, creating some squeaking and vibrations when you stepped in certain spots. The vibrations made the plates in the cabinet next to the kitchen vibrate. We didn't spend vast amounts of time in the house, so it was manageable. If you were planning on sitting at the table for breakfast/dinner with lots of folks moving about the house at the same time, then I could see it being not very pleasant.

Free WiFi is available throughout the property. We had the most incredible stay at Birds of Paradise in Aljezur. It’s one of those places where everything feels intentional yet completely relaxed. The design is beautiful without being overdone, and it’s full of thoughtful touches—natural soaps, super comfy beds, a filtered water station in the kitchen, and an overall calming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. The location is great for exploring the area, though you’ll need a car to get to the beaches and surrounding areas —Arrifana and Monte Clérigo were our favourites, both absolutely stunning. Onsite parking makes it super easy to come and go. Vanessa, Dick, and Jennifer were all fantastic - Warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Vanessa and Dick helped organise brilliant surf lessons with friendly, patient instructors, and Jennifer had great recommendations for live music and places to eat that made our evenings even more special. Breakfast was a real highlight—different every day, homemade, locally sourced and so delicious. You can really feel how much love and care has gone into every part of this place. It’s calm, well-run, and clearly built with heart and purpose. We're already planning our trip back! 🩵

Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Santo António Golf Course is 7.2 km away. Hospitality and services were top at Casa Aregna. Beautiful house, very comfortable and cozy. Highly recommended!
