Manthally Cabanas also includes a year-round outdoor plunge pool. Everything! The cabanas and the little cute pool are made with so much love and attention to details. The yard is full of greenery, birds and life, so beautiful. But most amazing is the hospitality of Rasi, Chami and especially Anwar who always went extra mile for caring of us. The breakfast was lovely, freshly home made and varied every day. It was really hard to leave the place.

The cottage built in the garden of the family is very stylishly furnished and has everything you need. Great interior design. It even has a very large refrigerator, dishes, and a sink. Malik and his family take really good care of their guests. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful (so much so that we made ourselves packed lunches). And Malik's brother once brought us some delicious homemade cookies, just because I had told him that I like sweets. You can borrow two bicycles for free, which we did once to explore the surrounding area and ride through the rice fields. Malik is a very good contact when it comes to organizing excursions. He gave us great tips and organized a good driver for a day trip to the rainforest. He also speaks excellent English (which is unfortunately not often the case in Sri Lanka), so it's easy to have a conversation with him. He is an awesome guide himself and spent a morning showing us around the old town and fort of Galle, and we learned lots of new and interesting things. Highly recommend to go on a guided tour with him, if he is around. If we come back to Galle, we will definitely stay here again!

The property itself is stunning and spotless and the true meaning of Boutique. It's a little way from the beach but it's in the jungle with no sounds other than the wild life. There are little extras with this property that are noteworthy, the use of the kitchen if you like or the laundry room.

Located in Ahangama, Kurumba Luxury Cabin is a recently renovated accommodation, 21 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium and 21 km from Galle Fort. It was cozy, clean, and equipped with air conditioning. Chen, the host, was incredibly polite and always ready to assist, even lending us a scooter for errands. The location was peaceful, slightly off the road, ensuring a quiet stay, yet conveniently close to cafes and shops (around 5-7 min by scooter). For longer stays, having a scooter is advisable. Last but not least, the breakfasts were delicious and varied. Each day offered new and tasty options, although they were not buffet-style, they were satisfyingly fulfilling. Also there is a summer kitchen if you want to prepare smth by yourself

Lovely Owners and Dog, I could not of wished for a nicer time in their company as we took an early morning walk together -also popping in on friends in the neighborhood .-I was lucky to of heard the sweet lady sing-this was wonderful evening treat . Also a big bonus is the Tea Plantation which is within walking distance and THIS educational experience was very cool. I felt safe and liked my time here Alot.
