We were greeted with a pot of Ceylon tea and cookies upon our arrival, and Bandara helpfully arranged tours and airport transfer for us. Bandara is always there whenever we required assistance, he even sent us off at 5:30 in the morning. The property itself is a lovely cottage house overlooking part of the Gregory Lake. Everything is neat and tidy, except hot water supply can be rather unsteady at times and no hairdryer was provided (insofar as we were aware).

The lodge offers an American or Asian breakfast. The owners went out of their way to make me feel at home immediately. Their attention to detail and communication was excellent. The space heater and drinking water were a nice touch. Loved the view, the classy cabin vibes, the location- right across from the lake! The house‘s location is a 10/10, less than a 15 min drive from the Adam‘s Peak start and is surrounded by a great landscape, especially in comparison to Dalhousie (where the hike starts), so it‘s really worth the short ride.
