We stayed for 2 nights at Hokkoma cottage and loved our stay. The property itself was wonderful, had everything we needed and felt like home. Our trip was focused on taking advantage of Aso's beautiful nature and the cottage's location allowed us to do this. It was also great to know that there was a large bath to use after the hike to soak our tired legs!

Ginga no Yado Kinoko2seigo features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Shimo-tajiri, 38 km from Mount Aso. Delightful stay in the country with wonderful hosts. We enjoyed a private onsen before an outstanding multi-course Japanese/French dinner. One of the best meals of our trip. This was followed with the host treating guests to star/planet viewing in his observatory. The room was simple but very spacious and comfortable. The grounds were well maintained with a beautiful and peaceful view. It felt like a destination on its own right and it is very convenient for visiting several nearby national parks. With google translate it was very easy to communicate with the host. Our stay was a very special experience and is a highly recommended stay in central Kyushu.

Aso Lodge Otohime II, a property with a garden, is located in Aso, 39 km from Suizenji Park, 39 km from Hosokawa Residence Gyobutei, as well as 9.3 km from Mount Aso. The place is in a beautiful setting and very quiet.

Situated in Ozu, within 14 km of Egao Kenko Stadium Kumamoto and 22 km of Kumamoto Castle, GOYADO features accommodation with a garden as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Very cute cabin in the woods with great communication from property hosts to make sure all went smoothly. There was a fire already burning for us when we arrived.
