Endless swimming pool. Gardens was well maintained. Rooms are large with a huge bathroom and a separate kitchenette. Staff are so down to earth. Always there to help you. Thank you, Made 🙏 There are only 4 cabins. We pretty much booked 3 for our family. By night time, there were no staff, so the whole Villa was ours. You do need your own vehicles to get to places to eat. Otherwise, if you're there for 1 night, you can always bring instant noodles. They can help you breakfast for a fee. 65k per head. We have no complaints about our stay. It's amazing and relaxing. Will definitely stay again if we head to Karangasem to explore.

Around the hotel are so many rice fields and in the evening/night we even saw some fireflies, the nature is just stunning and I would recommend it immediately.

Rice terraces transformed into a stunning, well-tended garden with a few cottages, each one completely private, surrounded by nature and the gentle sound of flowing water everywhere. The only noise you’ll hear is the forest! The room is simple, with large windows overlooking the view. The family takes care of everything with kindness and love, always with a smile and true generosity of spirit. The food is excellent and abundant, and it’s clear that everything is made with love - from the garden’s care to every grain of rice on the plate. There’s a private stream you can bathe in, and plenty of nearby trails to explore. The scenery is breathtaking and the area feels truly authentic.

We loved the place overall, the surroundings, the loving staff, and their delicious home-made food! We spend our Christmas time there with our 2-year-old son, and they made the holiday for us extra special. The beating heart of this accommodation is Gede and his wonderful family. Very responsive and helpful from our very first communication, Gede left no stone unturned to ensure we have a 10/10 experience. Right from greeting us with his ever smiling face from the airport, to driving us to Sidemen to sharing sight seeing tips that match with my philosophy of travel, Gede went above and beyond. The house is spotlessly clean, as it is maintained by Gede's family with all basic amenities like air conditioning, wardrobe, toiletries etc. We were initially scared thinking there could be mosquitoes as we are in the middle of the rice fields but we're pleasantly surprised to see none. Waking up to the wonderful view of the Agung mountain, starting the day with yummy fried noodles and simply admiring the greenery that Sidemen has to offer - we stayed here for 2 nights and the place absolutely exceeded my expectations. One simply has to experience the hospitality here, to want to keep coming back every time. Team Babakan also are super helpful in terms of arranging transport and offering recommendations wherever needed.

This is one of my top 5 guest houses anywhere in the world (I have been to over 140 countries) when I arrived my breath was taken away the setting is breathtaking. The huts are incredible comfortable, clean and wait until you see the bathroom WOW!!!! But what really sets this place apart is the kind family. Grandma what an incredible women she made my stay so much fun I really really can say it wouldn’t have been the same without her. Always smiling always caring and always there when you need something. Grandma took me on an incredible walk in the village to meet all her family and friends and they were so friendly as are all of the village. She is also taking me to a ceremony tomorrow on the rice field Secondly made always smiling and always helpful and so nice to chat to. Also Kiki who liaises on bookings he is so responsive and forever helpful (grandmas son) what a talent to turn the farm into a wonderful homestay. Finally the driver madie great to driver around with and we went on some nice adventures. Dont hesitate to book if you want to see the real Bali and have a peaceful and restful time.

There was a good selection of food for good prices (very good vanilla milkshakes). The rental scooters were quite new and comfortable to drive. The room/villa was a good size and also quite comfortable, ours included a private 'balcony' to sit on.
