Gèdre noktasında bulunan Chalet Sanset tesisi Lourdes Tren İstasyonu noktasına 43 km, Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary noktasına 45 km ve Pic du Midi de Bigorre noktasına 36 km mesafededir. Only stayed for one night, but it was an excellent stay. The chalet(as you can see in the photos, the cute mountain hut-style cottage) and facilities are new and well appointed. The environment is good, there are sheep nearby, and it is possible to see the mountains from the room and the town from the upper road. As I knew from the beginning, breakfast is not included (no optional service), so we bought bread and ham and salad at a convenience store in town before my visit, and cooked it in the kitchen next morning.

This was one of the best parts of our trip to Europe. Definitely the best place we stayed in. Very comfortable accommodations, very friendly staff and breathtaking scenery. Highest recommendation!

The location is beautiful, you can start hiking right from the cottage. The cottage is lovely, with a big panoramic window. Our host, Fanny, was lovely and very helpful. The place was very clean. Also the optional breakfast is worth it!
