Breakfast was absolutely worth the cost for shorter stays: tasty, and just enough. No sadness over food waste, yet also feeling properly full. Well-equipped kitchen (only missing a microwave oven), even with a honesty-system bar (beer, wine and soft drinks). Charging possibilities for electric cars a big, unexpected bonus.
