The location was very beautiful. The common area and the pool were amazing. We went there for 4 days during our honeymoon. I highly recommend this location. And oh my god, the breakfast was one of the tastiest I have ever had at the Oasis Fusion Resturant.

My God the piece of land where the property is located is impeccable it’s heavenly with all its greenery, trees and landscape. The bungalows are amazingly built, very clean and the privacy is great due to only having just a few scattered bungalows on such a spacious piece of land. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful which was another plus. Gabriel was amazing, very helpful, very friendly and very welcoming. My girlfriend and I would stay there again without question. There’s no food service but there’s everything in the kitchen to make meals and so many restaurants around in the area.

Satta Lodge está en Puerto Viejo y dispone de vistas al jardín, piscina al aire libre, jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y bar. El lodge ofrece wifi y parking privado, ambos gratis. El alojamiento se encuentra en medio de la selva en un entorno super natural pero a la vez a 10min del centro de Puerto Viejo y 5min de la calle principal costera. Su personal, súper amable y relajado. Principalmente Brian que fue quien nos recibió y estuvo atento a que todo saliera bien durante nuestra estadía. Al ser para pocos huéspedes, se siente un ambiente muy cálido y familiar. El sector común de desayuno contiguo a la pileta y en medio del bosque/selva te hace arrancar el día de la mejor forma. Las habitaciones muy cómodas.

Bungalows Aché Cahuita se encuentra a 3 min a pie de Playa Blanca y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, terraza y cocina compartida. El lodge ofrece wifi y parking privado, ambos gratis. Muy cómodos y bonitos, cocina muy bien equipada, el hecho de que haya una pequeña heladera, una jarra eléctrica y una cafetera en la habitación hacen la diferencia a la hora de tener cocina compartida, muy buen alojamiento en todos los detalles. Volvería sin dudas!

Congo Bongo EcoVillage Costa Rica se encuentra en Puerto Viejo, en la región de Limón, a 4 min a pie de Playa Manzanillo. The most special stay on our entire Costa Rica trip. The houses are built inside the stretch of a beautiful selva, with direct access to the pristine, unspoiled beach. We were surrounded by sounds and sightings of wildlife on our walks to and from the beach, and when enjoying our time at the house. The love, attention and effort that goes into the maintenance of this amazing place is truly incredible. Everything works perfectly, from showers to kitchen utilities and all other comforts. Marisol took great care of us and helped us to spot sloths, toucans and howler monkeys. One of our closest wildlife encounters on the trip also took place at Congo Bongo. Following Marisol’s recommendation, we had two dinners at the local restaurant Mista Cook, it was delicious. Muchas gracias, we will be back!

El establecimiento Playa Negra Guesthouse está ubicado en Cahuita, justo enfrente de la playa. The owner was super friendly. The house is located in a beautiful garden, basically your own private nature reserve with sloths, birds, frogs, aguri and more.

El Passion Fruit Lodge se encuentra a 5 km de Cahuita, en la provincia de Limón, a 18 km de Puerto Viejo, y ofrece una piscina al aire libre y vistas al jardín tropical. Beautiful garden and amazing pool, very nice and large cabana with kitchen and aircon. We love this place.

Playa Grande Lodge & Tree House está a pocos pasos de Playa Negra y ofrece jardín y terraza, además de alojamiento con balcón y wifi gratis. We had an excellent stay at Playa Grande Lodge. The grounds are lovely with plenty of wildlife. We were really lucky as we even saw a sloth in the garden! Our appartment was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. The fact that the hotel is beachfront was a big bonus. We loved going for a morning walk on Playa Grande to watch the sunrise. And finally the hosts, Gianluca and Mia, are wonderfull: very welcoming and they gave us great tips for exploring the area. Would highly reccomend!
