This house/tent accommodation was gorgeous! So cozy, cool, comfy, lovely, it's hard to describe in words. I wanted to stay longer! The facilities were better than most houses/flats I've stayed in. Mosquito nets were very thoughtful and useful, highly appreciated. And the exotic vibe of the animals next door was a bonus. Fresh bread in the morning another bonus! Lovely people to deal with. Everything 5 stars!

I wholeheartedly recommend this place! Vanessa & Dick created a beautiful space where you a feel at home while exploring everything the area has to offer. Design of rooms and all the details along my stay were curated with a lot of attention and care. Hosts were very helpful in recommending additional attractions such as surf training or massage. Chalet Monchique is a perfect bolt hole - amazing exterior and equally wonderful interior too, with tonnes of space for relaxing and unwinding. My husband and I worked remotely there for a week and were super comfortable. The WiFi was extremely fast, and there were lots of great spots to explore at the end of the working day. Great facilities and spotlessly clean.
