Nethsara cottage is absolutely gorgeous - beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and in a rural, quiet spot in the hills above Ella. Delicious breakfasts are served on the balcony that has amazing views of the valley and the Mahamevnawa Monastery in the distance. Madusha is a lovely host, organising tuktuks on our request. We were so sad to leave and couldn’t recommend it more!

Best home stay we went in 2 months Sri Lanka. Very beautiful location, middle of nature. We woke up with tea every morning watching the forest wake up and see all the animals Very delicious breakfast and diner. All our experience was excellent !!! Very nice, clean and cozy villa with in trees and rice fields. I really enjoyed my experience there. It was very nice at night that you can see a lot of fireflies. The breakfast was prepared at our private kitchen.

The house is clean and comfortable, up on the hill, in a nice area. The view from the terrace is wonderful, it is very pleasant to eat, play cards or just sit outside. The host family is really nice and friendly: Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. The accommodation is a bit far from the city, but with tuktuk it takes only some minutes. When we arrived, the host came for us to the railway station with his own tuktuk, which you can use at other times for a fair price. We had a great time here, we would come back anytime!
