A beautiful chalet with hills and stream in backyard. The property was very very clean and well equipped kitchen and bathroom. It is also wheel chair friendly - which is so nice and so rare to see with vacation homes. The host was easy to communicate with. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful chalet, even though the hot tub was not available during the season ww went in, we did not miss it :) The surrounding rustic village was great for walks with our dog. Very close to bakeries and supermarkets yet a remote location feel.

Our stay at the "Hedgehog Home" near Plitvice was an absolute delight! The place was so charming that even with the breathtaking beauty of Plitvice Lakes nearby, we found it hard to leave the comfort of this wonderful accommodation. The bedrooms were truly a highlight, offering stunning views that made waking up in the morning an absolute pleasure. We thoroughly enjoyed the nice hot tub, which provided the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the area. The BBQ area was a great addition, allowing us to have some memorable outdoor cooking experiences. The property itself was super comfortable and beautifully designed, making it a joy to spend time in. One of the unique features of the "Hedgehog Home" was the availability of mountain bikes in four different sizes. We had a blast exploring the surroundings on these bikes, adding an extra level of excitement to our stay. Marinko, the host, was incredibly kind and hospitable, making us feel right at home. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to him for making our stay so enjoyable. The presence of a few cute cats on the property and the sweet neighbor's dog, Lemmy, added a touch of warmth and coziness to the whole experience. We cannot recommend the "Hedgehog Home" enough to anyone planning a visit to Plitvice. It's a perfect retreat to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. The cottage is perfect. Very beautiful, clean and lots of privacy. The porch was great with the bad weather we had. Our host was very frendly. Only 15 km from the park.

These standalone cabins are modern, clean and comfortable. Each cabin has a parking space allotted right next to it. There is also an open space just outside the cabin with a picnic table which we enjoyed. The location is very convenient if one has his own private transport, it is very close to Plitvice National Park and close to some good traditional restaurants in Rakovica.

Great location for a family getaway, close to Plitvice but quite and peacefully located in the hills. Tastefully arranged inside with some very nice details. Outside the king size BBQ with according seat corner and hammock’s were mostly enjoyable

Where do I even start? This place is absolutely amazing. The Chalet has everything you will possibly need for your stay. THey thought about everything. It was raining the whole time we were there and we had to cancel all of our plans to visit it's beautiful surroundings and still had the best vacation jet. Do I need to say more? It is apsolut best just being inside the house. The kids were playing with so many toys that were left in house for them. Kitchen is better equipped then the one I have at home. Also in front of house you have a beautiful view of little stream and trees, playground for kids. Something for everyone. Host was very kind and helpful. We really have only the best to say and if you have a chance we definitely recommend this place. Thank you for this great experience.
