Cedar Lodge is a cute house with nice cosy interior. It is about 10 minutes ride from the center of the Oban. It has nice garden view. We feel like at home. It was local heating in rooms, which make them warm pretty quickly. We enjoy our stay here. I recommand walks in Ganavan Sands - there is a large land beach 13 min from the house.

We loved how it felt remote but was still close enough to Oban, loved the jacuzzi, loved all the utilities and the interior design. We also loved all the extra touches, such as the guide with tips, coffee and tea cakes etc. Rowan was incredibly helpful. Definitely want to come back!

Lovely owner - great local knowledge and super friendly. beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is excellent. a great supply of breakfast items, too. super quiet location too.

Within 12 km of Dunstaffnage Castle and 45 km of Kilmartin House Museum, 5 bed house near Oban provides free WiFi and a terrace.

We stayed a couple of days on a walking holiday. There are a few nice walks in the area, but in general there are not a lot of trails. If you are into walking, check out Fearnoch Forest (access next to Angus' Garden, about a mile up the road), or walk over the ridge and to the beach via Balindore. In the village, there is a very well stocked village grocery shop with the friendliest shopkeeper in the world. Nearest serious walk is Ben Cruachan, but we did not get there. Good public transport to Oban, for a day trip.
