We had a room facing the pool, but just a few steps from the beach. Room is clean. Good location. Short walk to restaurants and mini marts in the area. Great value. Lovely staff.

Every year we come to Vietnam and keep living at this bungalow hotel. Location is perfect: really close to clean Ong Lang Beach, also my favourite restaurant on the island located across the street and overall the place was really quiet. Staff is super friendly. You can take a cup of coffee at the morning or ask for laundry services. Also there are a lot of bikes you can rent and explore the island! Last year we booked a small room, but stuff allowed us to live in an extra large room, because it was free at that time. Can’t wait for the next year so we can come back here one more time and spend the best vacation.

Loved this swimming pool… one of the longest and best we had during our travel so far! The little bungalows are really cosy and you can also enjoy on the small private terrace. You’re 5 min walking from the big King Kong store and we bought food to have breakfast at the hotel. The people working there are really nice and to my request gave me some bowls and cutlery to accommodate us.

Exceptional place! Quiet and impeccably clean room with a really comfortable bed. I loved the glass windows and the outside coffee table with the plants. The WIFI was perfect as I managed to work from there without issues The staff went above and beyond by providing me with a table where I could work. They are always helpful when you need something. Then, there is the on-site restaurant with fresh fish every evening and the beach is just beyond the corner. I cannot recommend it enough!

As with all the other reviews, access to the property was through a long unpaved road, but you are definitely on the right track! Secluded, not for those who want to be in the heart of a town/city, but we loved every bit of the peace and tranquility it gave. Only about a 15-min drive to Safari Phu Quoc and Grand World, through a paved road. Gold Sand arrange for someone to pick us from the airport, and we were warmly greeted as soon as we arrived. We had two rooms - a large family room for 4 of us (2 adults, 2 kids), and another for our parents. The family room was much bigger, so air-conditioning took a little while, while the other room was nice and cold. We stayed 4 nights and had most of our meals at Gold Sand. Simple, homecooked-style, probably the best meals we have had in Vietnam. Their in-house driver, Minh, took us on all our trips out and back to the resort and was a joy to chat with. Son makes sure to greet and chat with every table, every meal. We thought Phu Quoc would be one-time thing (safari for the kids), but after this hospitality... we definitely wish to come back again! <3
