Marafiki Bungalows is located on the beach in Kiwengwa,overlooking the ocean.Zanzibar International Airport is a 1 hour drive away. I loved our room next to everything. We loved the fresh food, mango salad was my favorite . The shower gels were also lovely- local Zanzibar product. The steps down to the beach allowed us to swim in the sea I had an enjoyable Pilates lesson and an excellent massage on the private deck. It is a place to refresh and relax.

Chumbe Island is a fully protected private island, off the coast of Zanzibar, home to a stunning Coral Reef Sanctuary and Forest Reserve that is entirely funded through ecotourism revenue. I stayed at Chumbe for 3 nights as a solo traveller and it was the best choice. Firstly, the staff were amazing, special call outs to Chaga, Munir and Vera, and made the whole stay so enjoyable. The food was plentiful and tasty. The snorkelling was great, I actually saw more snorkelling off the coast Chumbe than I did diving off the coast of Zanzibar. The accomodation was clean and had everything you need (keep in mind it’s off grid, so the facilities they had were great). Can’t recommend this place enough

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Bahari Beach Bungalows is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Jambiani, a few steps from Jambiani Beach. Bahari feels like home. Simple as that. And I guess this pretty much says everything. Stefania and all the staff are very friendly, warm and welcoming. The location is incredible, right in front of the beach. For those who are looking for something more relaxed and away for the big resorts, this is the place. For now, I’m gonna keep crying ‘cause I’m still missing that jam at breakfast!

Situated in Kidenga, 400 metres from Jambiani Beach, Amilsha Bungalow features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The staff went out of their way to make our arrival & stay as comfortable as possible.. Very nice in house meals freshly done. We loved the sea food and the chef was flexible. Value for money. A bonus is the place is 5 mins walk to the beach. We shall be back!

Location couldn't have been better. Right over the sea and with the best beach in Zanzibar just for yourself if you wake up early.
