Jean-Philippe was by far one of the best hosts we've ever had, starting from the moment he welcomed us. We felt incredibly lucky that he was available to meet us at Papeete Airport—not only with a warm smile but also with a thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. As we were on our honeymoon, it meant so much to be greeted by such a kind and genuine person. His home is exactly as pictured—if not even better. The pool was perfect, and one of the highlights of our stay was spending time with his lovely dog, Maya. She's such a calm and affectionate companion; we absolutely adored her. Jean-Philippe also gave us excellent recommendations during our stay, and the ones we followed were spot on. We also rented his car, which made getting around so much easier and more convenient. We're deeply grateful to have found someone like Jean-Philippe. Staying at his beautiful home was a wonderful experience, and our only regret is not being able to stay longer. Thank you so much for everything, and we truly hope to see you again!

Having the air conditioner upstairs made a wonderful difference to me. 😀 The bed is comfortable. Hearing the ocean and boats was great. Getting into & out of the water was easy with the steps and ladder. My wife and I are love cats. The 2 local catsvare amazing and very friendly too. The view in person is better than the photos! We had an incredible time staying there. The owners are very nice and only a phonecall away if you need anything. The local atores and vendors are also very close. Driving around was easy! I used google maps to help out. About an hour after we checked out, the owner called me to let me know I left something behind. We eventually made it back and they greeted us again with the same warm kindness that you get with loving family. If you want a simple, relaxing place to stay, the is the place. You will have everything that you need. I have already told some friends and coworkers about staying here. You should check it out too. Just look for the blue sign on the driveway fence. 😀

The host, Barbara, and her husband are very welcoming (they made us banana bread on arrival and had made us flower necklaces as it was our honeymoon!). The room was very clean and comfortable, there is an outdoor deck to enjoy the morning coffee.

We had an incredible stay here. The property is spacious, extremely private, and set right in front of a stunning, expansive lagoon with so much to see and do. It truly feels like your own piece of paradise. Reno, our host, was absolutely exceptional. He’s incredibly friendly, accommodating, and provided the most detailed and insightful guide to the property and surrounding area. His local knowledge and genuine care made our experience even better – he was always helpful and a pleasure to chat with. We couldn’t have asked for more. We will definitely be back!

Of the thousands of places I've stayed in 70+ years, this ranks among the top three and I can't say how wonderful the other two were. It is the only place I can't say how to improve it. A fantastic setting/view, full feature bungalow, modern, clean, well run, and with a delightful hostess. It is a bit difficult to get to, but if you managed to make it to Tahiti, you're up to it. If I return to the island, this will be my first booking (and I had another top-20 stay there). When the price doubles, it will still be a bargain (with a waiting list). So don't miss out!
