The owner was so friendly and accommodating for our last minute booking too (booked and arrived within 10 mins at night).

We were picked up by Arthur (despite a delayed train) and had a short journey back to the homestay. It's in a great location, a short walk into Nuwara Eliya and easy access to Lake Gregory. Our room was lovely and had everything we needed. Arthur was great at helping arrange some laundry for us and giving us tips on the area. We only spent one day there but got a full tour of three different tea plantations and some waterfalls. The breakfasts were traditional Sri Lankan food and both delicious )dahl one day and milk rice the next). It was a great last stop before our holiday came to an end in Sri Lanka!

I accidentally stayed in Hatton as I thought I was staying in Nuwara Eliya but I guess the filter of the bathtub was set and I was extremely busy and tired to notice it was in Hatton. Nevertheless, I completely enjoyed my stay here!!!! Every staff member was soo helpful and beyond accommodating! The food was amazing! The chicken breast was so tasty! The room was comfortable and the bathtub was everything that I was needing! I got a massage from the doctor and it was needed and nice! I felt completely comfortable and safe as a solo tracker. Lakman was great on a tour as well.

They have an in-house chef who is super friendly and can cook anything under the sun. Location is great. It's a cozy and comfortable place to stay. There are only four rooms so it will never be crowded. Moreover, If a small group wants to stay, they have the entire place to themselves.

The room was comfy. Even though Nuwara Eliya was cold and raining, I got 2 blankets to use. While I arrived, they provided welcoming hot tea. And the breakfast the next day was really good with various options. And the host even waited with me for the bus going to the train station. The location is between the post office and the lake Gregory, which were within walking distance for 30 mins to each of them. It was a good stop in the town.

The owner of Amansara Bungalow was extremely helpful and courteous. The Bungalow itself is at a great location with phenomenal views....and equipped with everything possible. Lastly, the Butler Gunasekara is an absolute asset and a gem of a person who is also a great cook.

Royal Majesty Bungalow offers accommodation in Norwood. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. Beautiful former plantation house, well kept.Quiet location. Best accommodation we had on the Pekoe Trail. Great location for stages 7 and 8. Our hosts, Ruban and Murali, were fantastic - attentive, and helpful. Very knowledgeable about the Pekoe Trail and gave us good advice for our walk.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning location—right in the heart of a lush tea estate, with breathtaking views in every direction. The serenity and beauty of the surroundings made it feel like a dream. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional—warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile which especially important if you are traveling with small kids . The food was another highlight: delicious, authentic, and beautifully presented at every meal. Plus we enjoyed amazing and ad hoc dinner set up to celebrate birthday. Room was lovely - stylish & very comfortable. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with top-notch service, mouthwatering cuisine, and a setting that feels like it’s straight out of a postcard, this is the place. We can't wait to return! Overall rating: 11 out of 10.
