The bungalows are cosy and comfortable, located in a quiet area of forest away (but not too far) from the business of Bukit Lawang centre. There’s also a lovely river swimming spot just 5 min walk away! What made my time here the best was the kindness of Putra, Maya, and Fitraya. They are all lovely and make sure you feel at home. Not to mention, the food is amazing (especially the Chicken Rendang!) I did the 3 day 2 night trek with Putra and had such a fantastic time - he clearly knows a lot and cares for the jungle, it was such an awesome experience. I can’t wait to come back again 🙂 Terima kasih 🙏

Lovely spacious rooms with gorgeous balcony and view. Rooms were very clean with flushing toilets! Easy walk into town where there’s lots of restaurants and a supermarket. The owner and staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. We felt very safe and welcome here. They cooked us lovely banana pancakes for breakfast and a lovely lunch.

Bungalow Karo Hill está en Berastagi, a 27 km de Mount Sinabung, y ofrece acceso a un jardín con terraza. Algunas unidades disponen de zona de comedor y/o balcón. Nino & Imo (& Pigu, cutest dog in whole of Sumatra) are incredibly friendly and extremely helpful. Nino organised all of my activities and needs during my stay and also helped me with my transportation to my next destination. It was also a lot of fun to hang out and spend time together! Highly recommended!
