The staff was very friendly, gave excellent directions and tips , and even gave us chocolates and decorated the room for my boyfriend's birthday. The breakfast was delivered to our rooms in the morning and this was great as we got to pick what was delivered and at which time. 8 minute walk to downtown and a 10 minute walk to a beautiful local beach. We also loved the use of the spa at the end of the night. We will be back! Also, we loved the bed,it was ridiculously comfy.

This recently renovated apartment is located less than 1 km from Franciscan Monastery Beach and a 6-minute walk from Harbour of Hvar. The apartment features family rooms. Villa Porta Maestra was the best apartment we have ever rented. It was lovely. The sofa and chairs were beautiful and very comfortable as were the beds. We were very appreciative of the Nespresso coffee machine (our favorites at each of our homes). We didn't cook, but bought Croatian cheeses and meats for a few dinners. The views from the windows were breathtaking. No matter which window we looked from had a perfect view. Stefani went out of her way to help us get our bags up to the apartment and went with my husband to park the car, as the apartment was in a car free area. She also insisted that she help us with our bags on our return to the car. I would definitely recommend staying at Villa Porta Maestra. Hvar is a beautiful city and we really enjoyed our walks and very good restaurants.

My husband surprised me with this booking for our 1st wedding anniversary so I came with zero expectations and this place was amazing. We were welcomed with some prosecco. And some gifts in the room. The location was perfect! Right in front of a nice beach, but also right around the corner of the city center. The place was spotless and the service was amazing! I will definitely come back! Oh also they were partners with this other hotel and you could use the pool which honestly i wasn't planning on using since the beaches are dreamy but we also checked it out and it was perfect as well!

All round great experience for the whole family. The kids loved the pool, waterslides and especially the kids club. The parents loved all of it too because it meant the kids were so well entertained. Lovely staff, delicious buffet breakfast and dinner. Close enough to the town of Stari head to walk for a visit and it’s well worth it!

It was well equipped and the communication with the staff was easy. The location is perfect as it is not in the city center but it is close enough. It even had some shared kitchen machines for the guests.
