I just reread the past comments - accept what all the good ones say at face value because they reflect our experience there. Irini was exceptional on the front desk and Elizabeth, who cleaned our room every day, was exceptional! When I read each negative review I wondered if they are referring to a different hotel. If those people were expecting a $500 a night experience they should have stayed in a $500 a night hotel - there are lots to choose from on the island. Having a rental car I found there was always a parking space to return to without having the negotiate the narrow streets of the inner town. My wife’s main criteria is a comfortable bed and a clean room and environment. Mohitero got 5/5 on both. We really enjoyed the gardens and the birds and the peace and quiet. We would have no hesitation returning. It was a nice place to come “home” to after a busy day. The pictures on Booking reflect what was saw while there.

In the morning, they served croissant and some fruits which are so delicious and fresh. Also, they arranged a bout tour which made me meet with great people and some of them were solo travellers. And after the boat trip we went out for drinks with those great ppl. So, it's highly recommended to stay!! Don't be shy to communicate with ppl :)

We received a warm welcome by Kleo who helpfully gave us some tips on how to get around the island and served snacks and juice. We arrived earlier than the check in time, but she arranged for our rooms to be ready in a short time. She and the other staff members showed great hospitality and excellent service, meeting all our requests with kind attention and care.

To begin with, the communication with the hosts were very clear and prompt. Poppi responded to all my queries. The hotel arranges for pick up from the port at a reasonable price of 20 euro for two persons. On check-in, we were greeted with a warm smile and some great coffee. Necterios was kind enough to guide us through the must do locations and how to cover Santorini in a time bound manner. They have their own bus tour as well which we could not do since we had a pre booked tour - but the spots the hotel covers is similar to what other tour operators provide. In fact the tour of the hotel is more cost effective. Coming to the room, it was as it was depicted - pick and span and neat and clean. The size of the room was decent with a clean washroom. The room was cleaned everyday as well. The location is right at the Fira centre with markets, shops and bus stations all at a walking distance of 2 minutes. In fact, the most important benefit of this place is it's location which makes commute easy. They also arranged for an early morning drop to the Airport. All in all, a recommended place for a good stay at Fira at a reasonable price.

Babis makes you feel at home. Very caring. Bus stop is close by. Apart from few walking distance stores, everything else is one or two buses away. Advice:reach out to him for transfers. You get a better price than taxis.
