This was such an amazing experience. Probably one of the top during my trip through East Africa. This is more like an all inclusive stay than just a room for the night. We got dinner breakfast, and walking tours. Those tours were amazing we got to walk through the bush with the masai, learn about their way of life, the wildlife, plants, etc. The room is great. Traditional mud hut with modern amenities including power. Wifi was only in the common area but worked great. They danced for us when we got there. The service and friendless for this place was outstanding better than the "fancy" lodges we stayed. The food was delicious and fresh. Most importantly the money goes to help run the school in the back. It is located an hour from Arusha and can be arranged with to stay before or after your safari. They also offer transport. Please stay here!

The bed and breakfast offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. we did not know what to expect as mwi village does not had a lot of reviews. We booked anyway and did not regret it. Later on we discovered that the reason that there were not a lot of reviews (yet) is because he only startrd the accommodation 2 years ago and its not on tripadvisor or facebook yet to have more visibility. Our stay was above our expectations. The accommodation consists of different houses, which are spacious and have a big bathroom. Mr Mwi has a lot of animals which made it even more special. He has built everything himself (over 12 years) and we admire what he did and accomplished. He is super kind, funny and also interested in you as a person. We only stayed 2 nights and regretted that we could not stay 1 night more. There is a very kind girl who makes breakfast and dinner on request. We could choose what we wanted to eat, which was great and much appreciated. In the evening we just stayed with mr mwi, had dinner on the terrace while watching the sunset and the stars. Mr mwi also helped us with some excursions. We went with him to an authentic masaai village close to the accommodation, which was great as he knew the real price (only pay per car) and he protected us from the crazy expensive tourist prices. He can also arrange other excursions such as biking around lake manyara at a very good price. so just tell him what you would like to do and he will arrange it for you. We stayed one night before starting our Safari and he was so hospitable: offering to wash our clothes, drive us to dinner and make us breakfast in the morning. Our room was clean and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Could not recommend staying here enough!

We love the camp setting, but it is very far from the gate, so anticipate miles of bumpy ride to the camp. The room is large. Once the curtain is put down, it is quiet and peaceful. Dinner and Breakfast are just OK quality. There is nothing to do in the evening except sleep. Overall, it is a fine camp in the wild.
