We loved our stay at Grand Sud, la maison de sable. The owner, Mohammed, is a very kind host and we felt immediately like home. We enjoyed the calmness of the space, the great view of the dessert and the starry night sky, the beautiful breakfast in the morning. We will definitely come back!!!

Maison Proche De Désert Douz está en Douz y ofrece zona de barbacoa. Tiene jardín, restaurante, vistas al jardín y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. The host was awesome. He went to meet me when I got lost. He was very helpful and accommodating. The venue was just as advertised and my family enjoyed it. The camel ride they helped setup was fun.

El Camp Mars está en Timbaine y ofrece alojamiento en tiendas de campaña tradicionales con vistas a las dunas de arena. Organiza visitas y excursiones guiadas por el desierto. What an amazing adventure. We were picked up by a driver provided by Camp Mars from a hotel in Tozeur, where we could leave our rental car. You drive almost 3 hours deep into the Sahara and there it is. A large tent where you will be served dinner and breakfast and several tents to sleep in. Our tent had two beds and its own bathroom. However, we used the shared bathrooms, since they had flushing toilets and running water. In the tents you have to make do with very limited water. The dinner was great, the staff were friendly but the location is absolutely unbeatable. This was our first time in the desert and the experience was unique. The dunes around the camp are stunning, the starry sky was absolutely incredible and just sitting in front of a fire in the middle of the desert was a unique experience. I cannot recommend it enough!

CAMP ABDELMOULA está en Douz, en la región de Kebili, y ofrece alojamiento con parking privado gratis. Hay jardín y terraza en el tented camp. Best desert camp we’ve ever visited. Good facilities, nice and very clean tents, tasty food and very nice staff. Reda was very friendly and stopped several times on the way so we could take photos. Would absolutely recommend. We stayed for one night which was perfect, but next time we’d stay for two nights to have a bit more time in the desert.
