At sunset I would go down to the pier and photograph the action. (I'm sure others would ride the free bikes on tours of the beautiful green island, but I didn't do that.) There is a fine Thai restaurant two steps down the pier. I don't eat breakfast, but the staff brought coffee to my room every morning. They also arranged for a lamp on the balcony so I could read and write at night. My stay was extremely relaxing, which is just what I wanted. All the usual amenities are fine: Aircon is fine, hot water is fine (with pressure), there is a fridge, mattress was fine, there are enough plugs, etc., etc.

The aircon was quiet and effective, much needed in the heat! The owners were very helpful and welcoming. Can definitely recommend this place if you don’t want to be in the city but still within a short taxi ride away if you want to visit for the day.
