It’s a different world down on the pier. Literally the most peaceful place on the island. Book it. You won’t regret it x

As close to the sea as you can get, you can see the sea from your own bed :) Lots of glass sections connecting the room to the beach, open bathroom, mosquito net (although we didn't see any insects at all). During the day there were some people on the beach on the sun loungers, but in the morning and evening there were few people, a quiet place.

It is located in a natural mangrove next to a beautiful river. The view from the spacious shared patio is breathtaking. My room was very comfortable. It had all the amenities of a luxury hotel, including a large TV with netflix and a beautiful bathroom with a strong shower. The free-to-use kayaks and SUP boards were a lovely feature that we very much enjoyed. I was further impressed that during an 8 hour island wide blackout, there was still power in the guesthouse. The staff, Pui and Mei, were always kind and helpful. True to Thai hospitality. All that for a very reasonable price.
