We stayed one night in a double room and were very pleased. we LOVED the room's balcony (with excellent lounge-y chairs!) overlooking town, certainly one of the best views in Juayua (a volcano or two was supposed to be in sight but sadly the weather was gray / foggy). There seemed to be only two shared bathrooms but we didn't encounter times when they were both occupied simultaneously. Staff is very friendly and we felt very welcome.

Very comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. Amazing kitchen with everything needed. They have there own coffee blend for the coffee machine. The details were amazing from the fresh cut plants to the book detailing everything you need in town. Hir dryer and straightener was so appreciated by my girlfriend. Bug tennis racquet zapper. Seriously everything. Stones in the sink were a cool touch. Very very clean. Perfect linens. Location is on edge of town but still easily walkable and near a great pizza and taco restaurant. Beautiful courtyard with an avocado tree and picker to harvest them. Very friendly staff. Couldn’t have been happier. Want to go back to Ataco just to stay there again.

The town is quirky, safe, and full of cultural charm that made us want to stay. Casa de Luz is exactly as pictured, with attentive hosts, secure parking, and a fully-stocked kitchen. We lacked for nothing - they even had local coffee beans there for our use. We would definitely stay there again given the opportunity.
