There are great hiking routes nearby, Vintgar Gorge is close on foot too. I liked the small jar collecting compost, the dish machine, the children zipline in the garden. The neighborhood is very quiet and green.

The bonus was that we could watch directly the Big Dipper constellation when the sky was clear. Definitely we'll return.

Lake Bled is nearby, which is a day trip with a visit to the castle and a walk around the lake (6 km). The few days spent here were enough for us to decide that we will return in the summer to explore the beauties of Slovenia and that we will certainly request accommodation in this peaceful apartment again. The apartment is in a chalet located in the middle of the forest, very calm and confortable. There is plenty of tracks and good hikes around to discover the area. If you’re looking for nature and change of scene, don’t hesitate.

The food was excellent; tasty, freshly made, and great variety on menu. A room was tiny but cute. What is a great plus is that this homestead is built in beautiful forest area, but has very accessible location.The owner kindly helped us with planning our journey. Best place to stay in Triglav we found so far. Thanks!
