The campsite is secluded enough - further from the city lights and other camps. You have enough privacy, silence and the sky full of stars. Rashid is a very nice owner, who is very welcoming, attentive, has great sence of humour and is an interesting person to talk to. So prepare all the questions you would like to have answered about Oman and Omanis! The food was great and the dune bashing was sooo much fun! :) Cannot wait to come back for more nights!

The property features barbecue facilities, shared lounge and parking on-site among other facilities. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation features a balcony. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The tent was nice and comfortable with just what you need: a bed and light. The host prepared a snack with fruits, a variety of dates, traditional halwa, coffee and tea for when everyone arrived. I also got to see and pet the camels, they were extremely friendly. After that I watched the sunset from the sand dunes and had dinner with everyone else which was great with lots of vegan options. Later we watched the stars and learned about different constellations.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. We liked the authenticity of the place and the host, Hammed, a true bedouin, most hospitable, honest and friendly. He shares with you his uses and culture and offers a great service and perfect comfort in the middle of the desert. Hassan is his assistant and both cook in a true bedouin style natural and fresh products. The location is outstanding, surrounded by dunes and there are two female camels, pregnant by the time of our visit. We asked Hammed to send us photos of the baby camels when they get born. Unique experience, perfect for disconnect, very good food (they offer for two lots of different dishes and quantities that would feed four people). It is by far one of the best experiences of our lives.
