I only booked an hour beforehand so it wasn’t surprising that when I arrived, the host (Andy) was not expecting me. No problem; despite enjoying a large family feast / party to celebrate his son going off to university, I was quickly shown to my room . . . which did indeed, have wonderful views across the bay and of the Auckland SkyTower. The room was pretty large with an en-suite bathroom and a large walk-in wardrobe. Although I was sharing the kitchen with the family, it never felt awkward and where the guests cutlery, crockery, glassware, etc. was kept was all clearly marked.

This apartment also features a private pool. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. Fantastic apartment with view of harbor - easy to sit for hours just watching ferries come and go. The owners were excellent communicators. We had an issue with one appliance and they immediately responded to help diagnose and solve (problem was caused by a previous guest).

The holiday home features 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace with garden views. The property has an outdoor dining area. The Cottage was impeccably clean and the well equipped kitchen made preparing meals an easy enjoyable task. The bed was very comfortable and provided the best nights rest that I could have hoped for. I would recommend this accommodation without hesitation.
