He helped us to find a very cheap and good captain and recommended us some good restaurants. He helped us to come back home when it was dark and he made us feel very safe in every moment. apart from his work here he’s a wonderful person! The house is in a good position, it has very clean rooms and beautiful views in the rooftop! Little tip: try the delicious breakfast made by Joseph, who’s also a great chef!

With pool views, this accommodation provides a balcony. Each room is equipped with a patio with city views. Andavelo House far exceeded my expectations. The place is beautifully finished, with very large rooms, extremely comfortable beds, nice bathrooms and a cool and pleasant sitting area downstairs. The plunge pool provided a welcome antidote to the heat. The staff were amazing, with Safari seeing to my every need, and Abu producing fresh and delicious meals. A real refuge.

Jivanji was very hospitable and all the staff were very polite. Breakfast was served on the terrace overlooking the ocean. A good variety of Swahili goodies.

If you are looking for air conditioning and hot water, this is not the place but honestly I didn't need them during my staying. I advice this place for solo travellers. The place is very central. You find everything you need, from historical places to markets and restaurants. Joshua, the owner of the place is a very kind person, always available and committed to improve your staying.
