The property is non-smoking and is set 43 km from Kanazawa Castle. Everything was amazing! The hosting couple were super friendly and really cared and made us feel at home. Kuni, the host, explained some folk tales as well, and the house felt like a smaller version of the houses at shirikawa-go so it really made the whole experience of visiting both places much better. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was the tastiest and most eye-pleasing meal I had in my entire 2 weeks-trip. The clam soup was so fresh. The host helped to call the previous hotel I stayed because I left my adaptor & mobile charger there. He was kind to also let me use his charger that night. The room was warm in chilly autumn night and I had a good sleep after soaking in hot bath. It was rainy when I arrived and left the ryokan but because of the hospitality I received, I wished I could have stayed there for another night or 2.
