They were ready to shift us to a different room when I brought up an issue about the AC (which was not really much of an issue. We had to keep the doors shut for longer). We got hot water for a longer period as compared to the other places we stayed at.

I did yoga and spent a lot of time on the hammock here during our stay. The best part of this homestay is the host family. Sukry, his sisters and mother go above and beyond in ensuring you are having a great time. The dinners here were amazing, some of the best food we had in Indonesia and the breakfast is delicious and filling. It was home cooked food packed with flavor. We did a rice fields, monkey forest and waterfall tour with Sukry which was really fun - it was great to learn about all the different kinds of local produce grown here and explore the nature around. Sukry also organized our transportation to Tetebatu from Bangsal Pier and from Tetebatu to Kuta Lombok at very reasonable prices. This is not just a homestay but a unique way to experience authentic Lombok culture through the generosity, warmth and openness of Sukry and his family. Sukry is very involved with helping the community and even donates part of the proceeds from the homestay and tours to the local orphanage. Highly recommend!
