From start to finish our hosts couldn’t do enough for us. After showing us to our beautiful room and explaining how to get inside should we be late returning from our evening celebration they checked we were having breakfast the following morning and booked a taxi to collect us that evening. We had a lovely chat with them and heard about what they had done since taking over the property a year ago. It felt so comfortable and friendly, having a couple of drinks in the bar with the locals, prior to going out. Breakfast was ample and beautifully cooked. And to cap it all………when we arrived home I realised we had forgotten to empty a couple of drawers. John the owner kindly arranged for the items to be sent on to us . We will definitely be returning. The property has an outdoor dining area. Definitely recommend booking Brook Cottage if you’re in the area… it’s in a stunning location with wonderful views and yet still incredibly close to amenities, pubs, cafes and the Picturedrome. The attention to detail is fabulous and it’s clear the cottage has been lovingly renovated to deliver all the cosiness you’ll love, with a modern twist. We were particularly touched to see milk in the fridge and snacks in the cupboard, and the number of USB chargers around the place worked well for us too. The property is spotlessly clean and tidy as well as very tastefully decorated - a real home from home.

This was honestly one of the best stays I’ve ever had. The view is just incredible – not just the hills, but all the beautiful stone houses nestled in the landscape. Whether you’re curled up in the armchair with a book and a coffee, or sitting outside at the little garden table, it’s peaceful, stunning and properly relaxing. What really stood out to me was the care that’s clearly gone into everything. When I arrived, there were lovely touches waiting – bottles of milk, little savoury snacks, individually wrapped biscuits – all brand new and clearly left out just for me. The kitchen is well equipped, the place is spotless, and everything feels designed to make you feel welcome and looked after. You’ll even find walking sticks, a brolly, books, games and local tips. It’s perfectly located, incredibly cosy, and the value for money is unbeatable. A truly special find – 10 out of 10.

The property is non-smoking and is set 21 km from White Rose Shopping Centre. Very smart apartment style room. Modern and spotlessly clean and the hosts had left a huge range of snacks. The kitchenette was well equipped, Bathroom excellent with soap and shampoo etc. The bed was very comfortable. The owner was really friendly. It is located in a smart residence. We stayed to attend an event at the nearby Cricket club but the area has history and beautiful countryside.
