A balcony with an outdoor dining area and sea views is offered in selected units.
I adored this place and could have stayed forever. Emily and the boys were so nice and made my stay wonderful. Loads of activities available like snorkelling, manta rays, hiking, spearfishing, kayaking, but all can be done on your own timetable (as in, no fixed group spots like at resorts). The food was homely, varied, and delicious, made from locally grown or foraged ingredients like cassava and seagrapes. The beach is beautiful, with some of the most colourful reefs I’ve seen anywhere just a 50m swim out. The rooms are basic, but great if that’s what you’re expecting.
A warning: there’s no internet reception, so prepare accordingly (a weak reception might be available if you walk down the beach and up some rocks)

You don’t want to leave this place :)

Resort situated on a beautiful beach. Very nice outdoor shower in the villa. Very good activities that can be booked on on site (snorkelling, hiking,..) They were able to organise my travel back to the main island at the last minute and provided free shuttle to my hotel.
Facilities were fine for price - clean, well upkept, large rooms. Vibes were more of a long-stay place with travellers who had been there for >1 month. Food was decent and plentiful. Great place for experiencing the culture, they offered school and village tours and some travellers used it as a gateway to homestays around Wayalailai
The sense of community provided through village management. It was a real pleasure to be greeted and acknowledged so warmly by everyone we encountered. We felt well cared for.
Salome is a wonderful host. The dining area has great views of the sea and is beautifully landscaped. The food is delicious and plentiful. If we had any questions or trouble with anything, Salome was quick to respond and fix it. We got to do a village tour and meet the chief, went to church, and everything is really well organized. There's even an activities board and price list for all the optional add ons. The caves were crowded, but very cool. I'm glad we went.
The kindest and friendliest people you can ever meet. Simple, clean accommodation with incredible food and a beautiful beach, next to a lovely village on a wonderful island, with great snorkeling and other activities available. Perfect value for money. What's not to like?
As one of the staff said, "people come here to see Manta Rays". Perhaps because of that the facilities are a little sparse--shared showers (no hot water) and shared compost toilets. They are improving their facilities (new villa construction, new lounge chairs and paddle boards) though. Set your expectations and you'll have a nice stay.
The staff were excellent, extremely welcoming and always helpful. We staying in the Beach Villa and was perfect. Food was excellent, activities were excellent and plenty of room to relax on the beach or hammock. Walk from our room to the reef was 30m.
Being upgraded to beach front villa, the awesome and friendly staff, the amazing meals, the crystal clear water for snorkeling and swimming, just the whole resort!
Traditional but modern villas, spacious accommodations with garden area, on the beach front. Staff were amazing and so friendly, you really are made to feel special and part of the family.
