This review is written by me but is headlined by Kathryn my friend who made the booking. 🤔La Casa de Amelia is a first rate operation. I stayed there for 9 nights very recently. There are three reasons why I rate this hostal so highly. Firstly, comfort. I had a full one bedroom apartment with all amenities. The unit is bright, very high ceilings, excellent AC, full kitchen, clean and has great Galápagos character. Secondly, value. This is incredible value! Thirdly and most of all, the hosts - they are such a charming and real couple. Anita and her husband Danielle are the real deal. They are most gracious. Thank you guys.

The guest house provides garden views, a sun terrace and a 24-hour front desk. Everything was great here. Nice staff, Nelly can help at any time. Air conditioning in the room which is really necessary. Phantastic atmosphere for a breakfast in the garden. Five minutes to beach and port. Recommendation.

Everyone was incredibly friendly, and the room was spacious, clean, and had a great supply of hot water. Although the accommodation is located at the edge of the city, it took less than 20 minutes to get to the other side, so it wasn’t an issue at all. In fact, the location made it quiet and cozy.

Honestly ran by the loveliest of people. Alfredo showed me parts of his fruit farm and let me know I could help myself to as much as I please. It’s only 3 dollars in a taxi to the town at any time, but Alfredo will take you for just 2 dollars if he is available.

Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and luggage storage space, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The property is non-smoking and is set 1.5 km from Mann. The house was very comfy. The openers were very helpful in finding tours and things to do. The Terrace was nice to sit and relax and read. Location is close to the center without all the noise of bars. The doggie(charlotte) was wonderful. Nice bathroom.
