I chose Orietta Residencial based on exceptional other reviews, mentioned facilities and friendly atmosphere, and proximity to the Port (for travel to Santo Antao), main streets of Mindelo, and Laginha Beach. In all cases this was a fantastic choice. The Italian couple who run Orietta, and their team, are unbelievably friendly and helpful with a determination to make even the smallest stay perfect. The location is on a quiet street very close to everything, and with an amazing interior courtyard. The top terrace overlooking the pool is a nice relaxed sunny spot for breakfast but also to work and in the evening to have a few drinks during sunset. It is cooler and less rushed and noisy than the rest of Mindelo, away from some of the hassles in town. The room was cool, very tidy, with everything you need, including a marble bathroom with a large, reliable shower. Everything was spotlessly tidy and clean and the terrace area is perfectly designed to allow guests to feel at home and to easily relax. As the hosts also made is possible for me to arrive early (from the airport) and leave late (for the port), I can say with certainty their only focus is the well being of guests. From walking round Mindelo I can also say with certainty they have the best place!

JPi hotel is a gem located in the town of San Pedro. You will have the best view of the Island as it bears mountain, ocean and planes landing on the airport. Jean Pierre the owner is your guest relation rep, the cook, your guide, etc... At night, you will enjoy the sounds of the ocean and you can safely vent around with the locals. It offers a more reserved stay from the noise of the main city Mindelo. Transportation is a bit lacking in and out but renting a car will solve that issue. Breakfast was excellent and local restaurants also offer great menus.

Casa Bom Dia ligger i Mindelo, 19 minuters promenad från Praia da Laginha, och erbjuder boende med en gemensam lounge, gratis privat parkering, en terrass och en bar. Everything! The owners are really nice. They even prepared us a lunch package early in the morning, because we couldnt have breakfast with them as we had to leave very early.

Offering a terrace and views of the sea, Maderal is set in Mindelo in the Sao Vicente Region. Free private parking is available on site. Some rooms feature a seating area where you can relax. great host & super clean room. There is a nice terras with a nice breeze. good location, city center is 10min walk and the beach is also 10min walk. I was sick during my stay and Filomena made me tea and a 'magic potion'. She was very helpful. Even sick I enjoyed the stay!

Apartamento Sta. Filomena har utsikt över staden och erbjuder boende med en bar och en balkong, 2,7 km från Torre de Belem. We did not have a very good stay but the owners were very reactive to resolve everything. I am sure they will make the necessary improvements in the future. The apartment itself is great.

She was contacting us and answering our questions instantly. She arranged the pick up taxi to airport and she gave many advices . She arranged cleaning of apartament without asking for it. That was very nice and kind of her ❤️ we liked everything. It’s literally 5 min walk to laghinga beach and 15 min walking to center and port . It was perfect

Filomena Apartments LUXURY har utsikt över havet och erbjuder boende med en balkong och vattenkokare, 8 minuters promenad från Praia da Laginha. First of all the view to the sea is amazing. The apartment is new and well equipped. We had some minor issues (because it is a new building) during our stay, but the owner came and quickly made improvements. Owner was friendly and did everything he could that our stay would be pleasant. He gave some good tips of restaurants and other places we should visit.

Tia Nita Apartamentos ligger i Mindelo och erbjuder boende 17 minuters promenad från Diogo Alfonso Statue och 11 km från Monte Verde Natural Park. Det finns gratis WiFii alla utrymmen. The apartment was nice and spacious. The host was great!

Sky Mariposa sospesa sul mare har utsikt över havet och erbjuder boende med en balkong och vattenkokare, 16 minuters promenad från Torre de Belem. Everything was amazing..
