Situated a 80 meters from the main road, so very quiet. Supermarket, bakery, Best Coffee and the company for booking rafting and other tours are at walking distance. In the morning you can hike opposite of the road to the nature reserve for birdwatching; and there are so many species of birds! In the afternoon you can walk to the river and have a swim or dip in to it to cool off. I booked a private room with private bathroom and the rooms are very big, so you can stay with 4 persons. The hostel has a lovely view, expect Ara's and many multicolored birds in the backyard snacking from the banana's. The owner Maria is so warm and friendly, and there are 2 lovely dogs who want to be friends with you as soon as you arrive. The facilities in the kitchen are very good. Everything is super clean and tidy, value for money is superb!

Middle of the rainforest sits their cute little wood cabin. There is not glass only mesh windows which is nice but a bit loud in the night with animals and rain. The washroom is clean with warm water shower that requires a bit of tinkering to get. Wendy and her family was so nice to us even though we only stayed a day. The location is near the Tirimbina reserve so we stayed here for the night walk. Cute dog too! Hummingbirds were right outside the cabin feasting on flowers.

The host was very attentive and lovenly. Absolutly recommendable.

Loved the grounds and how clean everything way. Staff is so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and beds were comfortable for all of us. It felt like we stayed with family. Will definitely stay here again!

There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. The apartment features family rooms. The cleanest place I have stayed in Costa Rica. You have all you need for a nice stay (kitchen with all the utensils and a bathroom with nice shower). Internet is fast.

The host was great, the property was very comfortable and had hot water. Facilities were well stocked. I will highly recommend this property!
