We loved that we had everything we needed to cook, comfortable beds, A/C, mosquito nets, warm water, drinking water It was quiet and off the main road. Building were new and very clean. Could walk to the beach and Roland’s Bar. Host Cesar was amazing and helped us in so many ways we can’t even list them.

If you are ready, you will find no better guides than Dany and Micheli, hosts with hearts wide enough to welcome those willing to explore. Exceptional local food is one pathway they will lead you into their world with; spot on local advice and contacts will be another. Keeping in mind that the welcome they are providing is happening at the far edge of services and infrastructure in an area that was devistated by hurricane just a few years ago will sharpen your appreciation of just how much Dany, Micheli and their extended families are doing to share their community and lives with you. The facilities, location and value were exactly what we were hoping for and matched our expectations perfectly.

Jairo and Jenni were amazing hosts and made my stay in Providencia magical. All their recommendations were perfect and they were always available to help me. The posada is very nice and clean and the breakfasts are excellent.

The posada is perfectly located close to the town on the northside of the island. Our room was clean, spacious and well-equipped with everything we might need for a few days’ stay (including air conditioning and a full kitchenette). Most importantly, however, Lyndon was warm and welcoming, and he went above and beyond to assist us during our stay, from arranging guided tours and activities, to restaurant recommendations, and organising a buggy rental for us, which are all things we would have had more difficulty doing on our own. He was generous with his time and made our stay on Providencia truly wonderful.

I could not say enough good about this place. The apartments are very nice, with a great porch out front facing the ocean and the sunset. You can rent a scooter on site for a very reasonable price, and the scooters are in top condition. Nimrod, Hortencia, and Sidris treated us like friends and were very helpful with setting up any activities we wanted to do. They can also take you for the peak hike, snorkeling, boat tours, fishing, and probably much more for fair prices. They gave us fresh fruit from the garden multiple times and it was very good. On a side note, I accidentally started a fire on one of the tables on the porch, which damaged the table as well as some playing cards, a set of dominoes, and an ash tray. Nimrod was very relaxed and reasonable about this. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay on a beautiful island.

This charming posada on a small island offers a relaxed getaway with plenty of character. Conveniently located just a 7-minute taxi ride from the airport—and even more affordable by tuk tuk—it provides a warm welcome from the moment you arrive. The rooms are cozy, equipped with a fridge, efficient air conditioning, and, although the Wi-Fi can be a bit unpredictable, the views from the room more than make up for it. Keep in mind that, like many places on the island, there is no running hot water. Breakfast is simple yet enjoyable, and you’ll appreciate the water dispenser on-site. The friendly staff, along with the welcoming local community, add to the overall laid-back vibe of the island. Even though the posada isn’t beachfront, the beach isn’t far off at all. You can easily rent a scooter, grab a taxi, or opt for the cheaper tuk tuk to explore the island, with South West beach being a personal favorite. Overall, I would definitely recommend this delightful spot for anyone looking to experience a chill and authentic island escape.

Everything, Fabio and Adri are amazing hosts and will give you plenty of tips and advice about the Island and will help you with anything you need. The rooms are a good size with the most comfortable beds I've slept in whilst I've been away. The place is always clean and really feels like you are at home with how you are greeted, looked after and The location is perfect also, in SW Beach, 2 mins from a supermarket and a great dive school. You are getting a great bargain when you stay here. Providencia is also the safest place Ive traveled to in the Americas. Take it from me... Im English 😁
